CERTH is one of the leading research centers in Greece and listed among the TOP-20 in the European Union. CERTH was the EIT core partner in our activity and had experience in urban mobility both from a research and real-world applications points of view. Specifically, the activity was supported by their Economic and Social Impacts of Transport Systems Laboratory. CERTH assessed the transportation networks of both demo cities and drove the design of services taking into account local transportation models (e.g. DRT). Secondly, CERTH supervised the survey design and its UX for both pilots by taking inputs from its research experience, relationship with transport providers, project partners, and associated partners such as the European Passenger Federation. Finally, CERTH assessed the transferability of results to other cities to support scaling.
